The Quiet Revolution
The Peter Clark Center for Teaching and Learning and the Melrose Family Center for Servant Leadership are excited to be a part an inaugural group of 19 schools across the country connected with the Quiet Schools Network [QSN] developed by Susan Cain, author of, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking.
The Quiet Revolution directly supports our goal to develop and realize each student's unique talents and potential to excel. Partially supported by the E.E.Ford Foundation Grant, we have two Quiet Revolution ambassadors at Breck: Kim Peeples and Marie Murphy. The Ambassadors' mission includes developing self-awareness, communicating with presence, empowering others, fostering inclusive school cultures, and sharing best practices. Kim and Marie will be working with interested Lower, Middle, and Upper School faculty and administrators who want to learn more about QSN has to offer in terms of their own professional growth and the growth of their students.
